A small sized Edwardian book trough by Shapland & Petter for retail through the Army & Navy Co-operative Society in around 1910. This was one of the final book trough designs by the company. In very good condition, the trough is constructed in oak and retails the original stamped Shapland & Petter serial number under one foot and the tin Army & Navy Co-operative Society badge is still present on the back.
