An Arts & Crafts oak and rush seated arm chair by William Birch.
A rare example due to the backrest which differs stylistically from most chairs produced by the High Wycombe based furniture maker who's work could be found retailed through Liberty & Co.
Circa. 1895
Minor damage which has been repaired at some stage to the backrest (see pictures).
