Special Instantograph Patent Camera by J. Lancaster & Son circa. 1890

A scarce example of The Special Instantograph Patent Camera manufactured by the Birmingham based company J. Lancaster & Son.

The camera embodies the absolute best of quality Victorian craftsmanship - cased in wonderfully figured mahogany with brass fittings, the bellow remains in good condition with no rips or tears.

Including are three original mahogany camera plates and the original carry case (AF). 

The camera and case were retailed by Benetfink & Co., Cheapside, London.
